vehine charvu pney ha'adama...

[mood - allergies suck]
[music - antonin dvořák - symphony #8]

Long time no post :| This will be a MASSIVE HUEG SKETCHDUMP POST so if you HAVE EYES LOOK AWAY NOW.

warning: contains nudity and PENIS and oh god suckyness

Axel & Rhys snuggly plus a sketch of a country Bahmnen woman I did before a larger pic.

o lawd more clothes this time dear god - Eydna, Kunhvpa and Bahmnen

She-wolf, practicing what animal-people look like in my work. Not full furry, but more humanish, with different features. She looks badass :'D like the alpha female...

SO Jessie said I never draw Ivan with his kids SO HERE IS Ivan and baby Misha. Odd, I used to draw them together more often.

o lawd LOOK AWAY PENIS!!! Well I only consider this sorta erotic - sue me. I was experimenting with the ideas of Solais as Earth-Mother and Ivan as Sky-Father... crap!

A cute Renn-faire song is "The Scotsman" about a drunk Scotsman in a kilt who passes out on the street and two girls peek under his kilt and tie a bow on his penis. OK it's sillier in the song, but there was no way I could resist drawing Rhys in this situation.. it fits him so perfectly!!!
his speechbubble says "o lad i don't know where ye been but it see ye won first prize!" - lyrics of the song.

Axel doodle i liked~

Solais in sexy undies for no reason, just because I like drawing her curvy body.

Shota Young Axel :O

Hmmm Theresa said I should make this a full illustration, I just have to figure out what to put in the BG. Rhys, vulnerable and nude, wanting to protect his little sister at all costs.

SO I own a big book of Steve McCurry portrait photography and I was sketching some of the people in it. I was NOT directly copying, just re-drawing the people I saw differently; diff poses, style, etc Just for ethnic and face practice.
This girl is from Gao, Mali. I just loved her hair XD

Same as above - this girl is from Kandahar, Afghanistan.

Again - same as above. This woman is from Jodhpur, India.

HEADZ - Belan, my dream-warrior badass lady, and a random girl with an awesome hairstyle - I might make her a character.

Yvonel practicing sword in a training outfit. Just for lulz.

OH GOD MOAR CLOTHES CEAZE DIS MADNES
(kunhvpa clothes + a sketch of Hmong clothes from ref)

MAOR PEOPLE oh god I can't stop drawing all these different people. Ronatios fem and a Chekhele fem. Oh god Chekhele women are SCARY. There is very little different between genders in Chekhele people besides the assumed genitalia.

Based off of some ifo I got on warrior queen Boudica, a queen of the Iceni people in first century England who bravely fought the Romans (but lost :C) I imagined something similar for maybe my countries, with a fox-queen-warrior. DON'T ASK ME TO EXPLAIN THESE THINGS I HAVE WEIRD ASSOCIATIONS

Solais after a bath and little Misha, about 5 years old. I just wanted to draw Solais post-child with a bit of a different, older body.

Random crap - Ivan trying to brush the tangles out of his hair after sleeping :P lawlz

LOEV.

i think my favourites here are probably anything with solais (do you pronounce her name "sol-ay" or...?) and the blue ribbon. that was cute.

harts, harts and raiyneboes on your happy little soul.

The people on the clothes sketches aren't actual characters... or are they? I'm thinking the Eydna could be Solais (and while the question has come up already just when I've been thinking about it... how do you pronounce Solais? more like -ice or -ace?) and Rhys and the Kunhvpa could be Laudon and... Yvonel. Dressing rather feminine which I never expected but who knows XD
The clothes design overall are ace, they give a good sense of the climate the people seem to be living in.
And I want a set of clothes from every culture :C *dreams*

The she-wolf is wonderful! I love her fierce stare and how you combine animal and human parts - it's a bit closer to what I would imagine my human/animal characters if the races weren't made up to be more human by my friend who "owns" the rpg they're set in xD you know, with the claw-like hands and fur stretching out over the skin and so on... I could go on forever about my own versions of animal-people :D
I just wonder how people can walk with such morphed feet. It looks difficult to me, I would have such a hard time to come up with at least slightly convincing poses for that @_@

...some people have funny lyrics XD (I love mon moine by the way, have I already told you that?). I like the axel doodle too! It's just surprisingly different in that it's rougher than what I usually see from you. I almost never see anything from you that couldn't work as a full pic in terms of how well the strokes are placed etc. @_@ that must sound odd.

I like the idea of the solais-rhys picture a lot still and finished pic = YES :D

The Mali girl must be my most favourite sketch here, she has such a cute superlively expression :D

Belan reminds me a bit of the wolf lady, probably for expression and sorta her hairdo. She looks awesome <3

What's so scary about chekele women? O_o ......oh WAIT. I thought the left one was a Chekele and already wondered why they look so different, as small and dark and chubby and pointy eared. Oops. Guess I subconsciously linked Chekele with birds and had in mind that in birds and fish (there it goes again) the males and females can look VERY different. Which I think would be an interesting approach for a fantasy race. So there.

Little Misha always looks so happy and adorable <3 in the picture with Ivan he's super tiny, with his little wings and lots of hair he almost looks like a Putto xD then he again, he's in scale to IVAN, who is giant.

Ivan looks a lot like Misha in the last picture (except or the expression I assume)... I don't know why.

Now I'm out of words :| anyways, great to see an update again :D
