Shameless boyloving because I CAN. I haven't drawn stuff like this for awhile - it was building up in me. So blow me. I shouldn't have made them naked - this is supposed to be a very sweet, soft, romantic image, which is why I chose to use Axel's tail to cover stuff up, but it still looks kinda sexual. OHWELL. I used all GOUASCHE to color this - OMGILOVETHISMEDIUM!!! I bought some for VERY cheap (24 tubes for $8 o.O;) and now I'm hooked. I know the anatomy isn't exactly good, but I still like this image just being as it is. 

Rhys's hair is very hard to color - it's such an odd color, that it always either looks too pink, too red, or too orange. It's something of strawberry blonde-red, like the Solace image elsewhere in my gallery. Yeah, his pubes are the same color! XD; This is later in my story, I guess, because Axel and Rhys don't automatically fall for each other, it takes a year or more before Axel admits to himself he LIKES Rhys, and for Rhys to realize he loves Axel for Axel, not just because he's cute. (Rhys is a little shallow, and all for casual sex with people he barely knows.) And Rhys's hair is a little longer, enough to pull back, which he does. 

And I added more fur to Axel now, where his tail meets his spine, he has fur trailing up his back, and a little bit on his cheek, but that's mostly all the body hair he has. He's very thin - not as much as I could have drawn, but more so than Rhys, who's a swordsman, so he's a bit more burly. Whereas Axel is just a good runner, and an archer/thief, sort-of. 

I am in such a ranty mood today x-x I need a break.
