Random ghelthen elf-maiden (mine)
i've been way too into fantasy lately. and reading the silmarillion makes me draw many elves. so i used it to my advantage and decided to draw some elves from Crystalline Dreams, my would-be fantasy story. All the time I was drawing this I was getting all kinds of story ideas so I'm very happy :D She's a "crystal" elf, a ghelthen elf, called so because they rather isolated themselves from other elf-kind or man or whatever other creatures roam the world. They are crystal elves because they learned to make their living on metals, rocks, and crystal/gemstone. They've developed traits that make them like crystal over the years - you know, selective breeding, because they are admirers of crystal they'd choose mates with such characteristics. So they typically have white to pale-ish skin of some color, and strangely colored hair, both colored and natural. They typically have the smaller or the elven ears (I like long ears! so this short to me :/) What you see here is not necessarily a noblewoman or queen, because it's a rather 'communistic' society, lacking in the way of monarchy or nobility. (that's about all the clothing they go around in too - jewelry ) The BG is nothing special, but I tried to make the trees look stiff and metallic - hope i succeeded~ that's enough
