Characters: Roxy (mine)
A character that hasn't seen a gallery of mine in a very long time, Roxy, one of my earliest characters to stick around.. and also one I almost lost total interest in. She's a good friend of Axel's and in sort of the same predicaments as he is. I was trying to redesign her a little bit, this is still kind of rough. It's hard to make a character look unique and interesting but also having to keep in mind that they're poor and living off the land and can't afford anything more fancy than a tunic and trousers :/ Still, I got somewhere, and I enjoyed making this anyway (it was mainly started to keep myself sane during finals time!) and whenever I make portraits of my characters I like to think a lot about them. So the process tends to be more inportant to me than a great finished result! |
