I'm very inspired by music and the reactions of the world around me that happen without my intervention. I love high fantasy works and everything having to do with surrealism, dream imagery, folklore, mythology, and the macabre. I am mostly interested in narritive and illustration work, because to me nothing is more special than the characters and stories I create for myself, and I believe that others feel the same way. I would like to construct worlds that are straddling the fence between reality and personal dreamscapes. I am interested in expression through narration and storytelling because I believe one thing all cultures have is a need to explain and rationalize their past, present, future and what is not immediately sensed in every day life. Mythology and folklore, both ancient and personal, are important driving forces seen in my work. My studies in Anthropology greatly enrich my creativity. Because of this, most of my work is figurative. I feel that humans feel the most moved by depictions of themselves, and if someone is moved to create a story and background to a piece I have made, then I have succeeded. All
